We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2024, at the age of 94, Lorraine Ruth Beatty of Pittsboro, North Carolina, born in Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Cantrall and Ruth Cantrall; her brother Lawrence, Jr. (Delores); her siblings-in-law, John Beatty, Philip Beatty, Katherine Beatty and Elizabeth Shorten (Charles); her daughter-in-law Joni Beatty; and her nephews, Daniel Cantrall, John Beatty and Paul Beatty.
She is survived by: her husband James Beatty; her children, Elizabeth Roth (Thomas), James A. Beatty (Julia) and David Beatty (Nancy); her grandchildren, James M. Beatty, Rebecca Beatty, Andrea Beatty and John; her siblings, Helen Pierce (Floyd) and David Cantrall (Peggy); and her sister-in-law Ruth Beatty. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
