She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl W. Greene and Edna M. Greene (Seatz). She is survived by: her husband James Carter (Tom); her children, Jeff Carter of Graham, NC and Sue Powell (Robert) of Wake Forest, NC.; her grandchildren, Barringer Carter (Alexandra), Nick Carter (Brianna), Zach Carter (Elizabeth), Damian Carter, Ashley Jacobs (Sanford), Rachel Powell and Courtney Johnson; her great grandchildren, Arianna Jacobs, Scarlette Jacobs, Addelyn Carter, Katherine Carter, Sydney Carter, Michael Carter and Abigail Carter; and her sister Anne Carson. She is also survived by "Momma" not only to her children but to all of their friends.
