She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Ramsey and Clara McKnight Ramsey; her husband Murray Gipson Parker; and her siblings, Gary Ramsey, Earl Ramsey, Patsy Stephens, Thelma Stephens and Jackie DeBerry.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Parker (Karen) of Pittsboro and Linda Smithwick of Pittsboro; her siblings, Bob Ramsey (Mary Virginia) of Portsmouth, Billy Joe Ramsey (Lou Ann) of Barnesville, Shelby Soesbee (Hayden) and Vivian McFarland of Georgia; her grandsons, Wesley Parker and Travis Parker; and her great grandchildren, Demi Parker, Duncan Parker and Davis Parker.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in Lora's memory to Rock Spring Baptist Church 29 Rock Springs Church Road Pittsboro, NC 27312.
