He was predeceased by: his father Graham Hayes; his brothers, Jeremy Watson, Christopher Watson, John Watson and James Watson; and his stepfather Herman "Papa" Page.

He is survived by: his mother Catherine "Watson" Page; his siblings, Jarrod Watson, Marjorie Byrd of Siler City, NC, Dianne "Watson" Collins (Michael) of Durham, NC, Glen Watson (Teresa) of Goldston, NC, Stanley Watson (Dorethea) of Durham, NC and Vernon; and his grandchildren, Jaylin Smith-Watson of Mebane and Jada Watson of Pittboro, NC. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
