She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Evans and Lena Cotton Evans; and her husband J. B. Sanders. She is survived by: her sons, Gilbert Sanders (Shirley), Jerry Sanders (Louise) and Freddie Sanders (Toni). She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
