Karen McGrain Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Karen McGrain of Pittsboro, North Carolina, born in Racine, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore F. Geyer and Florence Olsen Geyer; and her siblings, Sue Jones, Cyndi Nitz and Gordon Geyer.

She is survived by: her husband David McGrain; her daughters, Anne McGrain (Ron Kaplan) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Beth McGrain of Livingston, Nina Decker (David Decker) of Cohasset, Minnesota and Lisa McGrain of Waukegan, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Aiden Braun, Kristen Fung, Amanda Decker, Nicole Johnson, Brandon and Brian Rouse; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Charley, Arden Barnhouse, Nora, Sammy Johnson and Gabriel Rouse.

There are no in-person services planned at this time due to the unusual circumstances we are under because of COVID-19.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Karen's memory to the Dementia Society of America at demntiasociety.org.
