She was predeceased by: her parents, Steward Jones, Sr. and Ora Bailey Jones; her husband Thomas Lindsey; and her siblings, Steward Jones, Jr., Dora Jones Kemp, Betty Charles and James Jones.

She is survived by: her siblings, Lewis Jones of Neeses, SC, Carrie Clark of Greensboro and Nellie Cox of Greensboro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
