It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Minter (Pittsboro, North Carolina), born in New Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hall Minter and Annie McLeod; and his siblings, George, Leon, Jasper, Leonard Minter, Nadine Degraffenreidt and Elizabeth Farrar Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughters, Vickie Minter-Scott (Sean) of Jacksonville, Florida, Sherry Minter-Tabron (Jason) of Raleigh and Tameka Minter; his grandchildren, Crystal Minter of Clayton, Ebone Minter, Alexia Ellison-Minter, Sean Scott, Jr. and Charles Stevenson, Jr.; his niece Teresa Goldston; and his sister Joyce Edwards (Bobby). He is also survived by ten brothers-in-law, nine sisters-in-law and a host of other special relatives and friends.
