He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse B West and Mildred Norris; and his son John West, Jr. (Heather). He is survived by: his wife Judy Mae West; and his children, Judy Taylor (Billy), Jesse West (Tammy) and Jason West (Hailey).
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Clements Funeral Chapel (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705).
At 79 years old, John has been battling Parkinson's with Lewy Body Dementia and atrial fibrillation.
