It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wayne Strowd Sr. of Pittsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Strowd and Lenora W. Strowd; his brother Warren Strowd; and his wife Shirley. He is survived by: his sons, John W. Strowd, Jr. (Tracy) and Michael C. Strowd (Bonnie); his grandchildren, John W. Strowd, III, Faith S. Dennis (Patrick), Kennedy H. Strowd (Jessica) and Olivia M. Strowd; his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Charlotte, Knox and Miller; his caregivers, Edith, Mandy and Jean; his family Dr. Kylstra; his caregiver Jessica; and also Brooke.
