John Thomas Nash Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Thomas Nash (Pittsboro, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas W. Nash, Sr. and Alice Snider Nash; and his wife Joyce Tilley Nash. He is survived by: his siblings, Douglas Nash Jr. of Spring Lake, NC, Donna Haley of Utah and Norma Jean Bocompani (Peter) of Connecticut; and his stepchildren, Steven Goodwin of Clayton, NC and Leigh Jones of Cary, NC. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory Griffin Chapel (396 West St, Pittsboro, NC 27312). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:50 AM at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery (724 Beaver Creek Rd, Apex, NC 27502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory Griffin Chapel (396 West St, Pittsboro, NC 27312).
