He is survived by: his children, Charlie Bland, Barbara B. Lawes (Danny), Mary B. Headen, Rev. Robert Bland (Easter) and Howard Bland (Cynthia); his sisters, Mary Lynn Reaves (Walter) and Josephine Lynn Lightsey; his sisters-in-law, Paulette Poe, Doreatha Leak and Bessie Sigler; his great grandchildren, Adrian Jones, Cameron Goins, C'Majae Harrison, Ca'Mari Benjamin and Amira James; and his nieces and nephews, Kimberly Lightsey, Andy Lightsey (Pam), Pierre Reaves, Kevin Lynn, Akera King (Trevor), Drew Lightsey (Emily), Brenda Marsh, Easter Bland (Robert), Charles Bruton (Eyvonne), Nettie Bruton and William Bruton (Laurita). He is also survived by cousins, friends, nieces and nephews.
