It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewel Alston of Pittsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Atlas Craven and Jessie Fox Craven; and her siblings, Josephine C White, Carolyn C Hannah, Walter Craven, Bobby Craven (Bob), William Craven (Bill) and Charles Craven (Toad).
She is survived by: her husband Cleveland Alston; her children, Marie of Graham, NC, Mike (Robin) of Siler City, NC, Curtis of Pittsboro, NC and Cleveland, Jr.; her grandchildren, Chasity, Michaele, Javis and Kiristi Wilson (Rajee); her great grandchildren, Fenix and Nova; and her siblings-in-law, Maggie Trapp, Olivia Harrington (Lit), William Hannah, JP (Doris), David, Dewitt (Ann) and Joseph (Cynthia). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
