He was predeceased by: his brother Sheldon Brooks. He is survived by: his parents, Sheldon D. Brooks and Pauline McKinney Brooks; his siblings, Earl Vincent Brooks of Pittsboro, NC, Marie Brooks of Pittsboro, NC and Jennifer Tucker of Warsaw, NC; his aunts, Aggie Mae Burgess of Pittsboro, NC, Juanita McKinney of Pittsboro, NC, Laura Mae Miller of Pittsboro, NC and Linda Joyce McKinney of Pittsboro, NC; his uncle Leonard Brooks; and his close friend Patsy Headen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
