He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathryn Tripodi of Pittsboro; and his children, David Knieriem of St. Louis, MO, Debra Foster (Mark) of Carlsbad, CA and Kathryn Lesley Knieriem of Rogers. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
