He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Church, Sr. and Eunice Hill Church; his wife Dorothea; and his daughters, Barbara Church Stocker and Kimberly Sue Church.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn C. Ferguson, Carol Krawetz of Pittsboro, NC and Martin Church of Captain, USN; and his grandchildren, Michele Frye of Omaha, NE, Benjamin Church of Pittsburgh, PA and Cathleen Noyes of Suffolk, VA.. He is also survived by five children, four daughters and one son.
