He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Henry Alston and Mary Catherine Alston. He is survived by: his sons, Henry Patrick Alston and Roderick Deshawn Alston (Briana) of Mebane; his brother Kendrick D. Alston of Pittsboro; his aunts, Willie Ann Pattisall and Helen Alston; and his cousins, Jacqueline Pattisall, Erika Green (Johnny) and Reginald Alston. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
