It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Wright of Pittsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Wheeler and Fannie Eubanks Wheeler; and her siblings, Charlie Wheeler, Wayne Wheeler, Frances Screws and Esther Shirey.
She is survived by: her husband John G. Wright; her children, Dwayne Wright (Leesa) of Pittsboro, Tony Wright (Diane) of Siler City and Tammy Bass (Keith) of Wilson, NC; her grandchildren, Jordan Riggans (Casey), Gracie Wright, Kendall Wright, Brittany McDaniel (Matt Tiller), Jessica McNeill, Morgan Bare (Jacob) and Hunter Bass (Jada); her great grandchildren, Weston Riggans, Evelyn Tiller, Rylee Tiller, Lily Tiller, Cheyenne Bare and Canaan Bare; and her sister Ava Lee Brower of Staley.
