She was predeceased by: her husband John Robert Ruel; and her sister Margaret Melillo (Peggy). She is survived by: her children, Matthew Ruel (Rachel) and Laura Ruel; her grandchildren, Amelia (Amy), Allison and John; her grandchildren-in-law, Vinny and Danielle; and her brother Anthony Vrola (Tony).
Florence requested that in lieu of flowers, donations in her honor be made to the Newman Catholic Student Center at UNC, Boston Catholic TV or the charity of your choice.
