It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Milliken (Pittsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on March 6, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Goines and Lucy Stone Goines; her husband Lonzo Milliken, Sr. of Sept; her sons, James Edward and Sammy Milliken; and her siblings, John, Mamie, Jesse, Robert, David, Clyde, Rufus, Elizabeth and Edward Goines.
She is survived by: her children, LaVerne, Wyomie and Bernard of Durham, NC; her daughter-in-law Faydean Milliken; and her sister-in-law Linda Headen. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren. And a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
