It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Pockrus (Pittsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on June 12, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Camille, Cherie and Jean. She was also cherished by daughter and recalled working in the fields with her brothers and sisters protected from the sun in handmade bonnets sewn by their mother.
