We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2021, at the age of 91, Dorothy Sturdivant Braxton of Pittsboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bailey Sturdivant and Ila Mitchel Sturdivant; her husband Wilson Braxton; her brother Nelson Sturdivant; her grandson Glenn Braxton, Jr.; her children, Vernon Braxton (Robin Badders), Glenn Braxton (Penny) of Garner, Robert Braxton (Robin) of Goldston and Jane Dougherty (Richard) of Whispering Pines; her grandchildren, Brian Braxton (Crystal), Chris Braxton (Danielle), Kirby Ellis and Eric Braxton (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Parys, Addie, Camden, Hayden, Henley, Finleigh and Riley.
