She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Yvette; her husband Richard Smith Sr. of South Carolina; her son Richard Jr.; her daughter-in-law Michelle; and her sisters, Carolyn (Dwight), Catherine, Deloras, Gloria and Jane (Steve).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Knotts Funeral Home (50 N Masonic St, Pittsboro, NC 27312). She even handmade decorative face masks for family and friends during the COVID-19 epidemic.
