With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Currie of Pittsboro, North Carolina, born in Kearny, New Jersey, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Smith and Maybelle Coates Smith; and her husband Robert Currie. She is survived by: her children, Donna Bruno and Jack Currie; her grandchildren, Lisa Guidone (Ronnie), Melissa Ashley (Chance), Robert "Robbie" Hawkins (Patricia), Tara Kight (Matt), Stacey Stathakis (Andrew) and Kelly Bruno; and her great grandchildren, Giovanni, Troy, Quinn, Brody, Ryan, Shea and Adam.
