It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Smith (Pittsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on September 26, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Lewis Smith and Lillian Williams Smith. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Mann Smith; his sons, Chad Smith of Pittsboro and David Smith (Jess) of Pittsboro; his grandsons, Zach and Wes Smith; his sister Cathy Smith of Sanford; and his mother-in-law Bertha Foy Mann (Mema). He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in Arthur's memory to UNC Hospice P.O. Box 1077 Pittsboro, NC 27312.
