He is survived by: his mother Mabel Thompson Cooke; his wife Daphne Hill; his brother Travis Cooke (Pam) of Wilmington, NC; his stepdaughter Sarah Petty Butler (Lem) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Emerson, Zora, Marley and Donya; his nephew Garrison Cooke; his niece Meredith Fitch; and his pets, Sparky and Chora.
