He was predeceased by: his father Preston Junior Evans; and his brother Anthony Dillard Evans. He is survived by: his mother Margie DeGraffenried Alston; his brother Andrew Preston Evans of Pittsboro, NC; his children, Jaclyn Denise Taybron (Alton Taybron) of Wendell, NC, Aaron McRae Evans Jr. of Raleigh, NC, Angela Marie Evans of Cary, NC and Jeanette Dawn Evans of Fuquay, NC; his grandchildren, Alexia, Cameron, MaKayla, Kairon Evans, Brooklyn Taybron, Jayla, Michael Wells, Chi, Bryana and Davion Grimes; and his nieces and nephews, Keisha Long, Chamonica Peoples, Alicia Evans, Dominique Evans, Dupree Alson, Preston "Catbird" Evans and D'Anto. He is also survived by his four children and one son-in-law.
