It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Hoeke (Pisgah Forest, North Carolina), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on September 9, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hoeke and Eva Hoeke of Knoxville; his brother Fred; and his grandson Cody. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Carol Hoeke-Friberg (Reto), Stuart Hoeke (Christy) of Chuckey, TN, Laura Hoeke of Charlotte, NC and Janet Hoeke of Boise, ID; and his grandchildren, Seth, Heather, Colin, George, Sarah, Lee, Kaitlynn, Ben and Claire.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Robert S. Hoeke Scholarship at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, or to the general scholarship fund at the university of your choice.
