It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Shepherd (Pisgah Forest, North Carolina), born in Sylva, North Carolina, who passed away on February 7, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Michael Edwin Shepherd; his wife Freda Jones Shepherd; his daughter Stephanie Ealahan (Kevin) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his grandchildren, Kaleb, Kaden and Kendall; and his sister Pauline Hosapple (Wesley) of Madison, MS..
