She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Maxwell Benton and Virginia Clair Simpson Benton; and her husband Kenneth L. Williston. She is survived by: her children, Virginia Carter (David), Murray Summers, Jr and Kendrick Summers (Bonnie) of Virginia Beach, VA; and her brother Philip C Benton. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
