He was predeceased by: his sister Jayne Carrie of Fruita, CO; and his parents, Helen Lowry Smith and Luther Earl Smith of Raleigh, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Smith; his grandchildren, Mia, Jack and Darcy Hamrick (Raymond) of Portland, OR; his great grandchildren, Piper and Luca; his granddaughter Amanda Burdette (John) of Colorado Springs, CO; his great grandchildren, Rowan, Quinn and Seren; his grandchild Micah Jones of Arden, NC; his great grandchild Ivy of Germany; his sister Janet Leech (Stephen) of Elkins Park, PA; and his aunt Lottie Lowry Hardison (Gary) of Maxton, NC.
