He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay William Edwards and Mary Goodson Edwards; and his siblings, Dorris Justus, Diane Sumner, Mike and Jackie Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Liner Edwards; his son Kenny Edwards of Pisgah Forest; his grandchildren, Savanna and Storm; and his siblings, Dennis Edwards (Maybell), Carolyn Owenby and Pecolia Edwards. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Brevard Wesleyan Church in his memory.
