He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robinson (Jim) and Ruth Robinson; his grandparents, Burgin, Hazel Medford Robinson, Terell and Lillie Warren Moore; and his aunt Katherine Medford.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smith Robinson; his brother Tim Robinson (Ellen) of Brevard; his former wife Elizabeth Johnson (Jerry); his children, Kristi Robinson Gonce of Hendersonville and Russell (Kevin) of Cedar Mountain; and his granddaughter Faith Gonce of Raleigh. He is also survived by co-workers, neighborhood friends, family, and his wife.
A memorial fund is set up at Turkey Creek Baptist Church in Pisgah Forest for donations to go toward the "Building and Grounds.".
