It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Driggers Sr. of Pisgah Forest, North Carolina, born in Hope Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Douglas and Grace Robinson Driggers; his siblings, Sam, Elva and Liz; and his son Mark.
He is survived by: his spouse Merle Garner Driggers; his children, James, Larke Foster of Jonesborough, Tenn., Ann Wright of Hendersonville and Katrina Ronneburger of Pisgah Forest; and also, Teresa Chafey of Moore, S. C and Archie. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to Transylvania Christian Ministries, 164 Duckworth Ave, Brevard, NC 28712.
