He was predeceased by: his parents, Miriam Patton and Frank Patton; and his daughters, Mary Elizabeth (Pat) and Gemmell (Jim) of Portland. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his brothers, Robert Patton of Cumming and William Patton of Andalusia, Alabama; his children, Frank J. Patton, III (Beth) of Queenstown, Maryland, Thomas Patton (Janey) of Yachats, Oregon, Barbara Patton Smiley (David) of Bloomington and Carol Patton Wissenback (Bill) of Troutdale, Oregon; his grandchildren, Sarah Cannon, Jenny Flanagan, Kate Patton-Smith, Lauren Patton, Rick, Scott Thomas, Alex and Tyler Smiley; his stepsons, Conor Markham, Ronald Horvath and John Horvath; and his stepgrandchildren, Kendra, Katrina, Alex and Kaden Horvath. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
