She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Blain and Yvonne Blain; her husband Jess B. Cheatham; and her children, Cathi (John) of Pisgah Forest, N. C., Jess of Pisgah Forest, N. C., Liz (Robert) of Des Moines, IA. and Thomas of Nashville, TN..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Caitlin (Adrian) of Norwalk, CT., Alex (Morgan) of Denver, CO. and Chris of Minneapolis, MN.; her great grandchildren, Jaxen and Emmerson of Denver, CO; and her sister Susannah "Susie" Blain of New Orleans.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Philips Episcopal Church (256 E Main St, Brevard, NC 28712).
