He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Edward "Pete" Whitaker. He is survived by: his mother Martha Gwyn Haynes; his wife Elizabeth Jane Whitaker; his sons, Jesse Franklin Whitaker and Wesley James Whitaker (Brandy); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Jesse, Dayzee, Pyper and Jace Whitaker; his siblings, Paul Everett (Angel Byers) and Wanda Miller; and his nieces, Amanda Dalton, Amber Dalton and Paula Miller.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Cox-Needham to help defray funeral expenses.
