He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Herman Willard and Clara Johnson Willard; his brothers, Jerry Willard and Sammy Willard; his parents-in-law, Billy Midkiff and Lillian Midkiff; his siblings-in-law, Libby Willard and Melvin Shelton; and his nephew Jason Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Mickey Ann Midkiff Willard; his sons, Richard A. Willard (Samantha) and Eric B. Willard (Amy); his grandchildren, Mason Willard, Clara Willard, Addie Willard, Kaitlyn Willard, Ian Moretz, Colin Moretz and Meredith Moretz; and his siblings, Johnson Willard, Julia Shelton, Marie Crutchley, Eddie Willard and Wayne Willard.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Olive Grove Baptist Church (2131 Volunteer Rd, Pinnacle, NC 27043). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
