He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike J. Abeyta and Lucinda De La; and his sister Christella Clark. He is survived by: his wife Faye Brown Abeyta; his children, Lowell Marie Abeyta Hewett and David Eugene Abeyta; his grandchildren, Bradley Hewett (Jacqui), Bethany Hewett, Blake Hewett and Isaac Frey; his great grandchildren, Eleanor Hewett and Josephine Hewett; his brother Mike J. Abeyta, Jr.; and also Lissa Frey.
