Though Marylin may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marylin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt E. Ayers and Blanche Simmons Ayers; her son Christopher Vaughn Collins; her grandson Adam Braxton Collins; and her great grandchild Jayden Dean Collins.
She is survived by: her husband Wade McDaniel; her stepson Rodney McDaniel (Michele); her son Keith Collins (Lisa); her sister Diane Stalls (David); her grandchildren, Meagan Collins and Colton Collins; and her stepgrandson Jacob McDaniel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cox-Needham Funeral Home (822 W Main St, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
