It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mamie Mitchell (Pinnacle, North Carolina), who passed away on June 30, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Osborne Joyce and Maxie Lee Lynch Joyce; her husband Doc Finley Mitchell; and her siblings, Junior Joyce, Tommy Joyce, Aubrey Joyce, Jack Joyce and Nancy Bell Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Farrell Cook (Anita) and Mark Cook (Susan); her grandchildren, Torium C. Matthews (Adam), Joshua F. Cook, Sydney C. Buffkin (Shannon) and Colton Cook; her great grandchildren, Dylan A. Matthews, Drake A. Matthews and Hudson Buffkin; and her siblings, Ruby Joyce, Swanson Joyce (Ruby) and Frank Joyce (Doris). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
