He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jack, Luella Westmoreland, Dillard, Louise Hicks and Roger Jason Hicks.
He is survived by: his parents, Myra Westmoreland Holt of Shoals and James Howard Hicks, Sr. of Shoals; his children, Kaylee Grace Hicks, Charlie Roger Hicks and Ella Hicks of Shoals; his siblings, James Howard Hicks, Jr. (Jodi) of Rural Hall, Becca Hicks Scerbo (Nick) of Shoals and Jamey Hudson (Wesley) of Belews Creek; his aunts, Vickie Westmoreland, Donna (Tim Collins), Sue (Tony Wall) and Sandra Throckmorton; and his uncle Junior (Frances Hicks). He is also survived by His children, nieces, and nephews.
