He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Pruitt and Minnie Fulk Pruitt; and his siblings, Irean Jessup, Lottie Allen, Wayne Pruitt and John Morace Pruitt.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Nunn Pruitt; his daughter Christina Chilton (Brian); his grandchildren, Stephen Tyler Chilton, Haley Nicole Chilton and Alley Brianna Chilton; and his siblings, Stewart Pruitt and Magdalene Pruitt Kirkman.
