He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Medford and Odella Hall Yarbrough; his wife Barbara Mabe Yarbrough; and his siblings, Robert Junior Yarbrough, Medford Yarbrough and Willie Mae Yarbrough.
He is survived by: his children, Norma Snyder (Robert), James Yarbrough, Jr. (Susan) and Billy Yarbrough (Robin); his grandchildren, Andrew Yarbrough, Summer Yarbrough, Amy Pulliam and Ashley Yarbrough; his great grandchildren, Nathaniel Yarbrough, Jayden Scott, Colin Pulliam, Katie and Martin Wilson; his brother Noble T. Yarbrough (Millie); and his niece Krystal Shaw.
