It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Inez Jessup of Pinnacle, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on May 31, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Preston and Ida Elsie Scott Barber; her husband Fred Jessup; her sister Crawlie; her brother-in-law Anderson Brown; and her brothers, Carl (Evelyn Jessup), Roscoe (Mildred Jessup), Marshall (Betty Jessup), Clyde (Thelma Jessup), Rumell Moore and Lionell Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Jessup and Dale Jessup; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Moore, Jack Jessup and Lewis Moore. She is also survived by several cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Respecting the current limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Shoals United Methodist Church with Pastor Sue Anne Morris officiating.
