It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ima Jean Ashburn of Pinnacle, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Benson and Louise Jennings; her husband Jesse Gray Ashburn; and her daughter Donna Ashburn Bryant. She is survived by: her son Steve Ashburn (Robin); her son-in-law Ricky Bryant; her granddaughter Leslie Hamm (Josh); her great grandchild Jessie; her brother Aubrey Jennings (Judy); and her caregivers, Thelma Dobson and Susie Bruner. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Pinnacle View Baptist Church Cemetary Fund in care of Rachel Hall -463 Corner Rd Pinnacle, NC 27043.
