He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Brown and Kate Kiger Brown; his wife Ann Marion Brown; his brother Joe Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Brown and Bill Gibson.
He is survived by: his children, Melody Brown and Chris Brown (Mary Jo); his stepsons, Myron Marion (Dawn) and Tracy Marion (Lisa); his grandchildren, Christopher Brown (Heather), Steven Brown, Stephanie Brown, Courtney Ashley (JC) and Chloe Brickley (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Susan Brown, Miles Ashley, Mason Ashley, Lina Brown and Amelia Brickley; and his sisters, Willie Gray Gibson and Wanda Kay Sprinkle (Charles). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
