He is survived by: his wife Wanda Brown Sprinkle; his children, Mark Allen Sprinkle (Cindy) and Meredith Sprinkle Cox; his grandchildren, Lauren Parker (Michael), Nathan Sprinkle, Taylor Cox, Noah Cox, Shawn Cox, Jr. and Megan Cox; and his sisters, Donna Lineback (Tom) and Cathy McCarty (Wally).
Flowers will be accepted, or donations in his memory may be made to American Cancer Society for Lymphoma Research or to Mountain Valley Hospice.
