He was predeceased by: his siblings, Clyde Weaver of Mount Airy, NC and Jessie Ross of Dallas, NC.. He is survived by: his parents, John Daniel and Jettie Maude Carpenter Weaver; his spouse Dixie Taylor; his daughter Vicki Weaver Helms (Larry Helms); his granddaughters, Camdyn Medlin (Chase Mundie) and Carmyn Medlin; his sons, John Cole Medlin and Bentley Watson; his stepdaughter Janet (David Shearin); and his children, Tony Jackson, Allison Holmes and Jennifer Shearin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Central Baptist Church, 4821 Waxhaw Indian Trail Rd, Matthews, NC 28104.
