It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Leonard of Pink Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Houston and Louvene Houston. She is survived by: her husband Johnny D. Leonard; her children, Jason Scott Thigpen (Jane) and Tracy Lynn Matthis (Patrick); and her siblings, Bobby Dean Houston, Laverne Houston and Denise Houston Fernandez. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.

It is requested that social distancing be practiced and masks worn.
